Global Employment Solutions, a Georgia-based commercial staffing company, recently expanded its training services to include Stick and Aluminum welding, Fork Lift training and certification, as well as assembly instruction since its opening exactly one year ago.

“Our customers were having difficulty finding quality welders, assemblers, and forklift operators,” said Global president Steve Pennington, “so we continue custom-designing our training center to meet their needs.”

Available to both employers and candidates, the training center has increased the number of skilled welders, assemblers, and forklift operators to help fill much needed positions in the Georgia business community. Companies such as Kubota Industrial Equipment and Kubota Manufacturing of America have already benefited from the much-needed training facility. They have been the first to employ several weld school graduates after having reported difficulty finding enough qualified people.

The current welding courses are designed to teach the skills of arc welding, including the advanced techniques of Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding as well as Stick and Aluminum welding. Specific welding instruction can also be tailored to each customer’s needs. Forklift training is designed to teach the proper safety techniques and operation of various forklifts including both pallet and slip-sheet attachment. Global has also introduced assembly training, which is tailored to customers’ needs.
