Global Announces Grand Opening of Training Center
March 14, 2006
Global Employment Solutions, a Georgia-based commercial staffing company, will hold a grand opening for its brand new Training Center March 14. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for 11:30 a.m. by the Hall County Chamber of Commerce and 4:00 p.m. by the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce.
Participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony will be President Steve Pennington, Vice President Ken Michaels, Global welding instructor Jesse Barrett and forklift/assembly instructor Dan Steinhilber. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Global President Steve Pennington will offer remarks.
“Our customers were having difficulty finding quality welders, assemblers, and forklift operators,” said Global president Steve Pennington, “so we custom-designed a training center to meet their needs.”
Free to both employers and candidates, the new training center is expected to increase the number of skilled welders, assemblers, and forklift operators to help fill much needed positions in the Georgia business community. Companies such as Kubota Industrial Equipment and Kubota Manufacturing of America are first in line, anxious to employ the first group of graduates, as they have reported difficulty finding enough qualified people.
The welding courses are designed to teach the skills of arc welding, including the advanced techniques of Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding. Specific welding instruction can also be tailored to each customer’s needs. Forklift training is designed to teach the proper safety techniques and operation of various forklifts including slip-sheet attachment.
Located at 5415 Progress Ct Suite C & D in Braselton, GA 30517, the Training Center is convenient to Gwinnett, Jackson, Forsyth, Dawson, Hall and only 30 miles from downtown Atlanta.
The Grand Opening tours will be conducted continuously between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. with appetizers and refreshments provided. If interested in touring the facility, please R.S.V.P. to grandopening@gesnetwork.com
